Abstract

Guidance through religious activities is aimed not only at the material level but also at the divine aspect. On the other hand, religious development in shaping student morals can be referred to as an effort to maintain and improve students' religious knowledge, social skills and religious practices of students in madrasas and in the community. the point is that coaching means the efforts made by the madrasah, various religious-based productive actions. Madrasa as a place for students to get Islamic education is the basis of moral development. In this study, MTs N 2 Kotamobagu also has an equally important role in fostering students to become human beings of faith and morality. What is the role of madrasas and what steps are taken in fostering student morals are the subject of research. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the activities carried out in madrasas are based on moral development. The effectiveness of moral development can be seen from the responses of students in participating in religious activities, the more obedient students are in carrying out rituals of worship, the more the moral values ​​possessed by students will also increase in students' efforts to learn the Al-Quran.
