Abstract
Community service activities are carried out in Kalkurmo Village, Beringin District, Semarang Regency. This activity is aimed at empowering the community through processing the jaging husk waste into decorative products with economic value. Activities are carried out in the form of training and mentoring until they become products. So far, corn husks, which have been used only as animal feed or baked goods, can actually be processed into decorative products with economic value. This activity is expected to motivate the people of Kalikurmo Village to use waste materials into products of economic value so that they can improve community welfare.

Summary
Community service activities are carried out in Kalkurmo Village, Beringin District, Semarang Regency. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memotivasi masyarakat Desa Kalikurmo untuk memanafaatkan bahan buangan menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomi sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Desa Kalikurmo memiliki luas ±322 Ha dengan luas pemukiman sekitar 95 Ha, terletak di antara lahan persawahan dan perkebunan yang berada di Kecamatan Bringin, Kabupaten Semarang, populasi penduduknya mencapai 2.500 jiwa. Pendapatan tani yang merupakan jagung di Desa Kalikurmo mengalami kendala diantaranya karena kurangnya nilai jual dari hasil panen. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk mengolah limbah kelobot jagung menjadi produk yang lebih menarik dan unik serta mempunyai nilai jual yang tinggi. Kondisi dan Permasalahan Masyarakat Di Desa Kalikurmo sebagian besar penduduknya bekerja sebagai petani, baik mengolah lahan sendiri maupun bekerja pada orang lain. Masih banyak limbah kelobot jagung yang tidak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Desa Kalikurmo. Kurangnya kesadaran akan pengolahan limbah kelobot jagung di Desa Kalikurmo menyebabkan kelobot jagung hanya dibuang dan dibakar sehingga berdampak pada polusi udara
