Abstract

Character is an individual characteristic that is shown through how to behave, behave, and act to live and cooperate, both in the school environment, family, and society. The aim of community service is to: provide knowledge to Suko Mulyo's orphanage children about the character values that must be possessed in interacting with both the older and the younger through habituation. The implementation of this community service uses the lecture, discussion and demonstration methods. As for the results of community service activities on the extension of character value exposure at the Suko Mulyo Orphanage (PPSA) Tegal City are as follows: the number of school-age children in PPSA there are 90 children, with details of elementary school age of 1 person, SLTP 20 people, and SLTA 69 age person; there are five characters that are instilled in school-age children in PPSA, including: religious character, love of cleanliness and the environment, honest attitude, caring attitude and the love of homeland
