Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out how the formation of student character through scout extracurricular activities for students at SD Negeri 2 Lengkong, Wonosobo District. The methodology used in this research is descriptive quantitative methodology. Quantitative research is systematic scientific research on parts and phenomena and their relationships. The research subjects were 1 scout extracurricular coach and 31 members of grade 5 scout scouts, divided into 10 male students and 21 female students. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and field notes. The data were analyzed using the steps of data editing, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that through scout extracurricular activities, the formation of disciplined character and social-emotional attitudes is the main character that can be formed. The formation of this character cannot be separated from the exemplary scout extracurricular supervisor who sets a good example for his students and the role of other teachers in the school.
