Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in an integrative manner and the problems found in the SKI learning process at MTsN Padang Panjang. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation by observing the SKI learning process at MTsN Padang Panjang, interviews with SKI teachers and several students, and carrying out teaching practices to see students' responses to the integration learning that the researchers did. The data collection technique used was found that the Integrative SKI learning at MTsN Padang Panjang had been implemented, although not optimally. The integration carried out in learning SKI at MTsN Padang Panjang with character values and exemplary values in students. The results of the teaching practice obtained data that in general students were interested and quite understanding of the integrative SKI learning that the researchers did. From this research, it can be said that SKI learning in general has been integrated with character and value education for students.
