Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is a lesson that forms the basic foundation of a child's education, especially for children who are still studying at the elementary school level, because at its core, religious education is the key in building children's character as a guide for daily life. In order for education at the basic level to run effectively and efficiently, the process must be carried out in an interactive, inspiring, fun way, and provide opportunities for students to play an active role in learning so that they can develop students' interests, talents, creativity and psychology. Among the efforts made by the Education Unit are making breakthroughs and new ideas in learning models and using appropriate learning media so that the efficiency and effectiveness of graduation competencies can increase. This study aims to study the use of power points in the learning process carried out by a teacher at UPT SD Negeri 224 Gresik as an effort to improve student learning outcomes. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation. Data analysis procedures are data reduction, data display, and verification. From the results of reflection and data analysis, this research can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in group discussions. And because the calculation of the data obtained between the initial conditions and the conditions in cycle 1 was less than 80%, the research continued to the 2nd cycle and from the data generated there was an increase in student knowledge in accordance with the provisions of indications of success in using Power Point to improve student learning outcomes at UPT SD Negeri 224 Gresik.
