Abstract

Roads as land transportation infrastructure provide benefits to the community so that they can be used and supported in daily activities such as in the fields of education, business, work and others. Research with the use of Latuppa River Stone, Mungkajang District, Palopo City on the AC-WC mixture with characteristic methods for fillers, fine and coarse aggregates, then the preparation of the composition on the AC-WC mixture using the Marshall test. Based on the tests it is known that the characteristics of the Latuppa River Aggregate can be said to meet the specifications that have been set for the coating material of the road pavement. Based on Marshall's experiments that have been carried out, specifications were obtained for AC-WC mixtures with asphalt content of 5.5% to 7.5%. For KAO results at 6.5% through the Marshall Immersion test on AC-WC, the Residual Marshall Stability of 95.85% was obtained.
