5 hours after taking 150 mg of clopidogrel. The inhibition of platelet aggregation may have led to hemorrhage from the corpus luteum or from the wall of the mucinous cyst into the ovary, further increasing the ovarian size which was already larger than usual for mucinous cystadenoma. The acute increase in the size of the ovary may have led to torsion. Clopidogrel treatment may lead to clinically significant ovarian hemorrhage.
