Abstract

The ornamental plant cultivation is a booming hobby during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially among housewives. Various types of ornamental plants are planted in soil and plastic containers to beautify residential areas. Around us, there are lots of leftover materials that can be used as containers for planting ornamental plants. One of them is coconut husk. Usually, coconut coir is only used as a dishwasher or baked. In fact, with proper use, it can beautify the house and increase family income. Therefore, this training activity was carried out to open knowledge and increase the expertise of housewives in making ornamental plant containers from coconut fiber or called cocodama.
