Abstract

ABSTRAK Kehamilan merupakan kodrat yang melekat pada wanita yang sah secara hukum sesuai ajaran agama dan adat istiadat masing – masing. Saat masa kehamilan terjadi peningkatan metabolisme energi, sehingga kebutuhan energi dan zat gizi terus meningkat dan harus dipenuhi baik untuk pertumbuhan maupun perkembangan janin dan kesehatan Ibu. Anemia gizi besi merupakan salah satu dari empat masalah gizi utama di Indonesia yang sering terjadi pada ibu hamil. Ibu hamil dikatakan menderita anemia jika kadar Hb < 11g / dl dan paling banyak terjadi pada trimester I dan III. Solusi yang disarankan oleh tim untuk menanggulangi anemia pada ibu hamil adalah dengan melakukan fortifikasi pada makanan yang mengandung zat besi. Makanan yang mengandung sumber zat besi dan protein adalah daun kelor (Moringa oleifera L). Daun kelor memiliki kandungan vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B, kalsium, kalium, zat besi dan protein dalam jumlah yang besar. Tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil dalam mencegah anemia dengan memanfaatkan tepung daun kelor. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melakukan pelatihan pembuatan cookies (biskuit) dengan bahan dasar tepung daun kelor. Sebelum penyuluhan, dilakukan pre test yang menunjukkan hasil 15 orang (60%) berpengetahuan kurang, 7 orang (28%) memiliki pengetahuan cukup, dan 3 orang (12%) memiliki pengetahuan baik. Setelah penyuluhan diperoleh hasil post test menunjukkan bahwa 22 orang (88%) memiliki pengetahuan baik, 2 orang (8%) memiliki pengetahuan cukup, dan 1 orang (4%) memiliki pengetahuan kurang. Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil setelah diberikan pelatihan. During pregnancy there is an increase in energy metabolism, so that the need for energy and nutrients continues to increase and must be met for both the growth and development of the fetus and the mother's health. Iron deficiency anemia is one of the four main nutritional problems in Indonesia which often occurs in pregnant women. Pregnant women are said to be suffering from anemia if the Hb level is <11g/dl and this mostly occurs in the first and third trimesters. The solution suggested by the team to overcome anemia in pregnant women is to fortify foods that contain iron. Food that contains a source of iron and protein is Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera L). Moringa leaves contain large amounts of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B, calcium, potassium, iron and protein. Objective to increase the knowledge of pregnant women in preventing anemia by using Moringa leaf flour. In this service activity is training in making cookies (biscuits) using Moringa leaf flour as the basic ingredient. Before counseling, a pre-test was carried out which showed that 15 people (60%) had poor knowledge, 7 people (28%) had sufficient knowledge, and 3 people (12%) had good knowledge. After counseling, the results of the post test showed that 22 people (88%) had good knowledge, 2 people (8%) had sufficient knowledge, and 1 person (4%) had poor knowledge.
