Abstract
Web is one medium that can be used by many activists in communityorganizations to actualize themselves and communicate effectively. Web UtilizationTraining for Muhammadiyah Youth in Kartasura branch is expected to provideknowledge into the importance of mastering Information Technology and increasethe understanding of the web (Web Logs) as the more effective information tool (AmarMa’ruf Nahi Munkar). The result shows that the implementation of the training isquite successful. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in providingfeedback from the questionnaires delivered before and after the training. Furthermore,the training also shows an increasing knowledge in the use of the web as much as64%.

Pemuda Muhammadiyah sebagai salah satu organisasi otonom Muhammadiyah merupakan lembaga perjuangan yang bertujuan menghimpun, membina dan menggerakan potensi pemuda Islam demi terwujudnya kader persyarikatan, kader ummat dan kader bangsa dalam rangka mencapai tujuan Muhammadiyah, maka setiap gerak dan langkahnya harus merupakan perwujudan dari ajaran Islam

Sedangkan software atau perangkat lunak web browser saat ini tersedia dalam berbagai produk dengan kelebihan dan kekurangannya masing-masing. Beberapa web browser yang paling terkenal saat ini adalah Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari dan lain sebagainya (http:// karodalnet.blogspot.com). Kita dapat memperluas hubungan teman/ kenalan hingga dapat membentuk suatu komunitas yang besar. Weblog melebihi surat elektronik (Email), karena satu posting blog yang di bahas, dapat dibaca oleh pengunjung blog yang tak terbatas. Beda dengan email yang hanya bisa dibaca oleh orang yang kita kirimkan. Pengunjung blog juga dengan cepat dapat memberikan respon terhadap posting blog melalui komentar yang dapat langsung dituliskan di blog tersebut (http:// blog.bukukita.com). Sedangkan manfaat Blog diantaranya memperluas jaringan (kontak networking) dan memperbanyak teman, peluang dan kesempatan serta kepuasan menulis (http:// pemuda-muhammadiyah.web.id).
