Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide training and mentoring for the farmer women’s group (KWT) Seruni Indah, Papringan Village, Banyumas District in making organic fertilizer from livestock waste. Papringan Village has an ultisol soil type with a low fertility level that requires soil improvers. The large number of livestock is a potential that can be used as solid organic fertilizer to improve soil fertility in Papringan Village. The aim of this training and mentoring is to increase KWT Seruni Indah's knowledge about making solid organic fertilizer, especially manure. The methods that used include training, mentoring, discussions, technical guidance, monitoring and evaluation. The results of this service showed a very good response and gotta great enthusiasm from the participants. Through this training and mentoring, participants have the skills to make fertilizer and have knowledge about applying solid organic fertilizer to the cultivation of vegetable and fruit plants
