Abstract

Harm reduction isn't just an alternative to recovery — it's another pathway toward recovery, recent research has found. In “Peer‐Delivered Harm Reduction and Recovery Support Services: Initial Evaluation from a Hybrid Recovery Community Drop‐In Center and Syringe Exchange Program,” published Oct. 22 in the Harm Reduction Journal, researchers Robert D. Ashford, Ph.D., and colleagues write about the connection between recovery support services and harm reduction, often considered at odds with each other.
