Abstract
Peer selection is a multi-criteria decision making problem. In order to improve the accuracy of peer selection in mobile peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, this paper proposes an integrated approach of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Grey Relation Analysis (GRA) to consider various correlative parameters in selecting the optimum peer. The proposed scheme comprises two parts. The first part employs the AHP to determine the weights of criteria. The second part applies the GRA to rank alternatives and select the best peer. The simulation results show that the algorithm enables request peers to accurately select the service peer to improve the quality of mobile P2P service.
