Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present the concept of the structural peer review. The paper discusses the relationship of peer review to quality assurance in a physical therapy facility. The background for development of the process is mentioned, as well as the general procedure for implementing a review. The article summarises the elements included to review structure, process of care, and outcomes of care. The tally method of analysing the review findings are described. The peer review process has been a special interest, and she has served as a reviewer for many years on behalf of the chapters. The author teaches the area in an academic curriculum of physical therapy.
