Peer review declaration

Abstract

All papers published in this volume of Journal of Physics: Conference Series have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. Type of Peer Review: Double Blind (both author and reviewer does not know the identities of each other). Conference Submission Management System: Open Conference System, installed in local server owned by Universitas Sumatera Utara (https://ocs.usu.ac.id/ICCAI/iccai2020) Number of Submissions Received: 87 Number of Submissions Sent for Review: 81 Number of Submissions Accepted: 49 Acceptance Rate: 56% Average Number of Reviews per Paper: 2 Total Number of Reviewers Involved: 21 Additional Info on Review Process: All submitted papers must go through preliminary review process by the internal editorial team that evaluate the use of provided template, the plagiarism level, and/or the use of English. Each paper is reviewed based on three main components: Originality, Significance of Topic, and Presentation. Additionally, the reviewer is asked to describe the strengths/weaknesses and contribution of the paper to the topic/conference. Lastly, the reviewer can suggest to the editor either to accept or reject the paper. Each paper is assigned with two reviewers. Editor will then decide whether to accept, reject, or request a revision to the author based on the suggestions from both reviewers. Rejected paper is not allowed to be resubmitted.
