Abstract

All papers published in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. Type of peer review: Single-blind / Double-blind / Triple-blind / Open / Other (please describe) Double-blind ● Conference submission management system: On-line Submissions ● Number of submissions received: 132 ● Number of submissions sent for review: 82 ● Number of submissions accepted: 38 ● Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received X 100): 28.7 ● Average number of reviews per paper: 2 ● Total number of reviewers involved: 14 ● Any additional info on review process: The procedure of ICSM 2020 double blind peer review The editor-in-chief conducts a preliminary selection from the papers and abstracts submitted to this seminar. Those who meet the purpose of this IOP EEC ICSM 2020 are recommended to go to the seminar proceedings for double blind review. A total of 132 papers were submitted for double blind review. After each paper is received, the editor-in-chief will select two reviewers for review. Any information about the author in the article is removed, so the reviewer does not know who the reviewer is. The reviewer puts forward various questions that the reviewer considers important on the papers they review, and the author will reply according to the questions. If both reviewers think it is not suitable for publication, the paper will not be published. If one agrees and the other disagrees, it will be sent to the third reviewer. If two reviewers agree, the paper can be published. After all the review procedures are completed, the editor will check other points that may need attention, and after confirming that there are no problems at all, the editor will send it to the publishing house to make preparations.
