Peer review declaration

Abstract

All papers published in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. • Type of peer review: The 2nd ICHMGEP 2020 employed a double-blind review format, which means that both the reviewer and author identities were concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. The papers were reviewed by the internal (committee) and external reviewers (experts in the field). The internal reviewers ensured that the papers had conformed with the template, met the standard language, and showed satisfactory academic writing. Meanwhile, the external reviewers assessed the content of the papers. • Conference submission management system: The 2nd ICHMGEP 2020 utilized a web-based management system, where a typical web was designed to organize the conference including the paper submission and the review process.
