Abstract

AbstractThe etiology and treatment of uveitis in children remains different from adults. Infectious and auto‐immune conditions must be identified. Juvenile idiopathic arthritis‐associated uveitis is the main etiology of chronic anterior uveitis. Pars planitis is another frequent etiology of bilateral auto‐immune uveitis. On the other hand, toxoplasmic retinochoroiditis, ocular toxocariasis and cat scratch disease should be excluded in children with unilateral posterior uveitis. Case reports will be presented in order to illustrate the management of different pediatric uveitis entities.
