Abstract

Pediatric chronic rhinosinusitis is a common health problem. Pathophysiology is complicated which leads to different treatment options and approaches. Medical treatment with antibiotics and topical nasal sprays is the first line treatment. Surgical intervention includes adenoidectomy and endoscopic sinus surgery. Endoscopic sinus surgery has proven to be an effective and safe option when everything else fails. In this article, we review the indications, our surgical approach and techniques, and the safety considerations in pediatric endoscopic sinus surgery.
