Abstract
Synopsis: This workshop is intended for those who already have a basic background in the diagnosis and management of pediatric glaucomas. We will update participants on new developments in diagnostics and the medical and surgical management of the common forms of primary and secondary pediatric glaucoma, with emphasis on a case-based format. Special attention will be paid to surgical tricks that may help participants avoid difficulties already encountered by those instructing. Controversies in management and differences in surgical approach will be highlighted by the panel of instructors. Videos will be included to illustrate appropriate surgical points.
