Abstract

The humanitarian training occupies the significant part in the system of higher medical education in Ukraine in the present day. The author analyzes the peculiarities of the humanitarian training in the medical academy. It is proved that the humanitarian training is an important component in the formation process of the personality of a doctor.Using scientific approaches, the pedagogical conditions of the humanitarian training of foreign students - future medical doctors – have been determined. Each of the pedagogical conditions aim at the implementation of the previously defined components of the socio-cultural competence of foreign medical students, such as: creation of the educational and cognitive environment during the study of the academic discipline "Ukrainian as a Foreign Language" to motivate foreign students to expand their outlook, to form a motivational component, improvement teaching of the knowledgeable training of foreign students from the Ukrainian language, Ukrainian culture through the use of innovative pedagogical technologies; the direction of humanitarian training of foreign students – future physicians for the development of analytical skills on the basis of interdisciplinary integration and organization of students' self-education activities
