Abstract

Some peculiarities of the rivers’zonal runoff during high-water and low-water years for homogeneous hydrologic regions of the upper Amu Darya River basin have been studied. By solving the ill-posed inverse problem, the values of the zonal runoff for spring and summer periods were estimated for the selected years with high and low water. Glacial component is shown to play a larger role in the runoff during low flow years.
