Abstract
The quasi-binary ZrFe2ZrMo2 system is an example of a fairly complex metal system with the structure of the Laves phases. Both ZrFe2 and ZrMo2 intermetallic compounds crystallize in the cubic type λ2-MgCu2, for intermediate compositions ZrFe2-xMox an extended region with a hexagonal type of structure λ1-MgZn2 is detected, and also two-phase regions (λ1 + λ2). The formation of hydrides in this system under conditions of various pressures and temperatures was investigated in a number of works. In this paper, an attempt was made to summarize all previously obtained results.
