Abstract

Hydraulically Amplified Self-Healing Electrostatic Actuators In article number 2100239, Daming Wu, Yao Huang, Chaoying Wan, and co-workers have designed a new Peano-hydraulically amplified self-healing electrostatic actuator that utilizes a bilayer BOPP-TPU polymer shell, which could generate an increased strain (164%) at a driving voltage of 5 kV compared with the traditional single-layer actuator. It is an attractive approach to achieve a variety of motion modes.
