Abstract

A current mode control scheme for load sharing power converter systems with dynamic current distribution is proposed. These converters may be driven by different sources and possess different power ratings. With this control feature, the system is able to dynamically distribute the total output current among the power converters according to these ratings. Converters with higher power ratings will deliver larger portions of the total output current. The current distribution control algorithm and the system stability are described and analyzed in detail. These analyses and descriptions are confirmed with computer simulation results. >
