Abstract

A method is described for using the area under a peak and the peak height in evaluating the activation energy and preexponential factor of thermally stimulated depolarization or thermoluminescence peaks. The accuracy achieved by the mathematical approximation used is discussed and the use of the method is demonstrated by applying it to a number of experimental peaks.
