Abstract
본 연구의 목적은 PBL 수업이 대학생의 학습동기와 창의적 문제해결력에 미치는 영향과 학습자의 학습양식과 학습동기 및 창의적 문제해결력 간의 관계를 살펴보는데 있다. 연구대상은 G시에 위치한 대학에서 ‘아동권리와 복지’ 교과목을 수강한 40명이다. 연구목적을 위해 한 학기 총 15주차 수업 중 12주차 수업을 PBL로 진행하였다. PBL 수업의 효과와 학습자의 학습양식, 학습동기, 창의적 문제해결력 간 관계를 살펴보기 위해 사전검사와 사후검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, PBL 수업은 학습자의 학습동기에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, PBL 수업은 학습자의 창의적 문제해결력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, PBL 수업에서 학습자의 ‘참여형’ 학습양식 유형이 학습동기 및 창의적 문제해결력과 높은 상관을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 PBL 효과를 증진시키기 위해서는 개별학습자의 특성이 고려되어야 하며 보다 다양한 팀 기반 활동이 개발되어야 함을 시사한다.
