Abstract

Recent literature suggests a decreasing experience with open aortic surgery among recent vascular surgery graduates. While trainees have a wide exposure to EVAR, experience with the management of thoracoabdominal aneurysms, and young surgeon comfort in early practice remains unknown. Thus, we sought to evaluate early practice patterns in the treatment of complex aortic surgery among recent U.S. vascular surgery graduates.
