Abstract
This paper presents the structural patterns for the basic types of science citation indexes, including alternative citation indexes of the newest generation. The patterns make allowance for the subtle characteristics of citation indexes. The patterns of citation indexes are universal enough to be used as templates for automatically generating new citation indexes with specified properties when creating intelligent modules of scientometric information systems.
