Abstract

The article considers methodical aspects in the organization of history lessons or extracurricular classes of patriotic orientation. A model of a history lesson is proposed based on cooperative learning for the design of lessons or activi- ties, the objectives of which are not only to expand historical horizons, develop critical thinking of students, but also to form such personal results as patriotism, Russian civic identity, respect for the people, and a sense of responsibil- ity to the Motherland, pride for their homeland, readiness to serve and defend the Fatherland. The article describes the organization of the lesson of history «Posters of war years: 1941–1945» in accordance with the above-mentioned model and gives methodical recommendations for its implementation.
