Abstract

Physical defects that compromise the appearance or function, which prevents an individual from leading a normal life, usually prompt the individual to seek treatment that will reinstate acceptable normalcy. Prosthesis should be provided as soon as possible to raise the spirits and ease the mind of the afflicted. This case report presents the fabrication of custom-made silicone finger prosthesis and acrylic resin ocular prosthesis in an attempt to avoid costly procedures and provide best possible esthetic results. A high-quality esthetic prosthesis with passive function can be helpful to the patient since loss or congenital absence or malformation have both social and psychological impact on the patient.
