Abstract
Back ground : The present study aimed to asses the social and self - perceptions of children ( 4 to 8 years) regarding the esthetics of restored primary anterior teeth. Materials and methods: A total of 135 children seeking dental treatment were asked questions about the dental restorations of primary anterior teeth after showing them pictures of restored carious lesions. Results: They showed increased acceptability for Zirconia crowns as compared to other forms of restorations Conclusion: The children can perceive esthetics of their anterior restored teeth as early as 4 years of age which is important when planning esthetic restorations for them.
