In the structure of otolaryngological diseases, chronic tonsillopharyngitis (CTP) is one of the most common pathologies in the adult population (2.84-35%). The problem of CTP treatment remains relevant, especially in pregnant women, due to the diversity of microflora and the impact on the development and outcome of pregnancy. The article touches upon the problems of protecting the reproductive health of women. Objective: individual approach to the course of chronic tonsillopharyngitis (CTP) in pregnant women Materials and methods: A prospective examination in analytical groups conducted in the City Clinical Hospital No. 5 of Almaty since 2018. to 2021 There were cases of manifestations of tonsillogenic-pharyngeal intoxication in 300 pregnant women aged 18 to 40 years. The sample of study participants was conducted in accordance with the tasks and criteria. All statistical calculations were performed using the SPSS program (version 22.0, IBM SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA), p value <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Data were expressed as mean values with appropriate standard deviations. The normality of data distribution was confirmed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Categorical data were analyzed using a chi-square test. For non-parametric data, the Kruskal-Wallis test was used to make statistical comparisons between the three groups, and the Mann-Whitney U-test was used to make statistical comparisons between the two groups. Statistical significance was defined as p < 0.05. Сonclusions: An analysis of the literature data showed that it is necessary to start with preventive measures for a married couple before planning a pregnancy. We consider it an important conclusion to pay attention to tonsillopharyngeal syndrome in young couples planning children, as one of the extragenital catastrophes that reduce the health index of future mothers, and at the republican level, to include mandatory examination and admission to childbearing through inclusion in the screening program for the development of the nation, otherwise through decade there will be problems with reproductive health in the country.
