Abstract
A postoperative survey was conducted to evaluate the motivation and subjective response of twenty-five patients following surgical correction of prognathism. The results indicate that, in this group, the majority were referred by their family dentists. The major reason for seeking the operation was esthetics. Almost all patients stated that their expectations were fulfilled.
