Abstract

There were many studies to characterize Rhizoctonia spp. associated with diseased wheat seedlings and root rot of older plants and determine the relative virulence of isolates [3,4]. This taxonomic genus is divided into several species or anastomosis groups [5,6] and isolates were charakterized and their relative virulence was determined [2,7]. The aim of this research was the selection from the isolates of R. cerealis and R. solani the least and the most pathogenic ones towards wheat seedlings for the use in further investigations.
