Abstract
Sphaeropsis sapinea obtained from five tropical Pinus seed sources caused damage when inoculated onto seeds, seedlings and saplings of Pinus oocarpa, P. caribaea and P. pseudostrobus . Three isolates were appreciably more damaging than the remaining two and P. pseudostrobus seeds and seedlings and P. oocarpa saplings were most susceptible.
