Abstract
The article discusses the pathobiochemical mechanisms of the development of idiopathic inflammatory polyneuropathy. The authors’ analysis of the literature data showed. that the infection is not the direct cause of the disease, but plays the role of a provoking agent that triggers autoim mune mechanisms. Triggering factors may also include blood transfusions, surgery, bone marrow transplantation, and traumatic injuries to peripheral nerves. understanding the etiology, clinical manifestations and diagnosis of peripheral nerve damage is an important problem in the modern world of medicine.
