Abstract

Cognitive Radio Wireless Mesh Networks (CRWMNs) are reliable and promising technology to access opportunistically spectrum holes from the licensed bands with intelligible Software Defined Radio. Multi-radio and multichannel CRWMNs are dynamic networks, which creates routing protocol design as a complex. It has a capability of assessing the spectrum availability during routing, which enhance the efficiency of the network. The proposed algorithm is a novel multipath algorithm. The path selected in this algorithm based the minimal interference information, which is useful to make this routing approach as more reliable. Channel selection has the capability to identify more suitable links for data transmission in the network. The proposed algorithm has simulated in network simulator (ns2). The simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of proposed channel selection and path aware routing algorithm.
