Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate the attachment of university students and interpersonal relationship ability, and correlations with internet addiction. The results of this study were as follows: First, attachment avoidance has a significant influence on interpersonal competence as well as on internet addiction. On other hand, attachment anxiety has not influence on interpersonal competence but has a significant influence on internet addiction. Second, a self report questionnaire was used to measure the variables of attachment anxiety, attachment avoidance, interpersonal competence and internet addiction. The self report questionnaire cannot neglect the subjectivity of the participants, and cannot control the influence of tendency to be seen socially righteous in the examination attitude of the participants.
