Past, Present and Future in Korean Public Administration

Abstract

It is a great pleasure for me to return to Korea 44 years after I participated in the founding session of the Korean Association for Public Administration. The far-reaching changes that have taken place since then make me think about the changes likely to occur during the next 40 years - what will Public Administration in Korea be like in 2040? I know I shall not see them, but some of you will, and I ask you to think about them and how they may re-shape your lives.
