Abstract
Materials containing various types of hollow porous fibers filled with a chemical that is released into the matrix at appropriate times, or over time, are designed to address some issues of material performance, namely, cracking, corrosion, en ergy absorption and change in dynamic modulus (Dry, 1991a, 1991b).
