Abstract

Immunotherapeutic approaches have recently entered clinical routine in oncology. Oncolytic viruses such as Parvovirus H-1 (H-1PV) combine direct cytotoxic effects with enhanced anti-tumor immune responses. Here, we characterized the cytotoxic effects induced by the oncolytic parvovirus H-1 in conventional pediatric high-grade glioma (HGG) cell culture models and the combinatorial effects in simultaneous TMZ treatment in vitro and in vivo.
