Abstract

Parvovirus B19 may cause in adult healty persons asymptomatic infections or very heterogeneous dermatosis, including atypical cutaneous eruption of distal extremities associated with a polymorphous enanthem, defined “papular-purpuric gloves and socks syndrome”. A case of this very uncommon syndrome in an adult, female, parvovirus B19-infected patient is reported.
