Abstract

Partnerships between mental health organizations and universities are necessary to provide opportunities for graduate students to observe experienced group therapists. Both students and experienced clinicians can benefit from a training model that blends the craft knowledge and book knowledge in group psychotherapy. A description of this interorganizational training arrangement which has worked for four years is presented.
