Abstract

In this paper, we would like to,examine some composite models which consistently elucidate the various experimental features for these new particles and X-particles which have been found by Niu et aJ.B> 1) Among the decay modes of ¢-particles, the decay ¢(3. 7)--')¢(3.1) +n++nwas observed with abranching ratio of about 30%. Then this experimental decay width re::n is supposed to be several ten ke V which is 10_,_ times of the standard strong two body decay width. If the decay goes through the strong interaction, this strong decay width r~·;;.. can be estimated as (10n-4>) times of the standard strong two-body decay width, where we take account of the final state interaction8> or the phase space considerations.*> Then F~,f~ is known to 10co-a> times of r~;~. These facts indicate that there must be another kinds of suppression mechanisms for the strong interaction.
