Abstract

The slip gain can be changed by factors such as temperature. Correct identification of the value of slip gain can improve motor control accuracy. In this research, particle filter algorithm design for induction motors is done by using field oriented control as a control scheme used for online slip gain estimation. For testing with double closed loop control system, the influence of resampling method and probability estimation method on the algorithm is analyzed. Then the distribution of state variables and the pairwise relationship are presented. After that, obtain simulation estimates with variations in rotor speed, load torque, rotor flux, and slip gain. Finally, the improved flux observer, extended Kalman filter, model reference adaptive model are used to compare with the rotor flux linkage and slip gain estimation results. It is concluded that particle filtering has accuracy and superiority in slip gain and rotor flux estimation.
