Abstract

Currently, the situation that has developed in the sphere of trade in energy resources is determined by factors not only of economic competition, but also of geopolitical confrontation. These factors are a significant limitation for Kazakhstan, the geopolitical location of which does not make it possible to fully realize its own energy potential. The current situation is largely determined by the factors of political confrontation between Russia and Western countries, and in this struggle, the Kazakh exporter of energy resources becomes a factor of economic impact on political processes. In this regard, Kazakhstan is faced with the task of increasing its export potential based on the search for ways to achieve independence in the field of energy policy.
