Abstract
We summarize some of the results obtained in the model trickle-bed reactor in which the fixed bed of catalyst pellets is simulated as a vertical string of pellets trickled under well defined wetting conditions and allowing the use of thermocouples to measure temperatures in different positions along the string as well as on every individual particle
