Abstract
The experimental π +p elastic scatteringn data in the momentum region 2–5 GeV/ c has been fitted by a model in which the amplitudes are represented as the sum of Regge-pole exchange terms and parametric terms based on polynominal expansions in cos Θ. Phase shift parameters are subsequently obtained by a partial wave projection. The phase shifts obtained are them examined for resonant structure.
